Girltime! A Kate Spade Fashion Party
Recent events have Kate Spade on my mind. I fondly remember this one time I attended an event hosted by Evelyn of IndialynRose.com. I linked up with my friend and fellow blogger Joanna E of JoannaE.com at Kate Spade’s NY flagship store. Kate Spade’s fashions have always been one of my favorites.
Kate Spade New York is an American fashion design house founded as a handbag company in January 1993, by the late designer Kate Spade. Through the years, the brand grew and began to sell items such as bedding, shoes and a full women’s clothing line. Kate Spade fashion is perfect for the woman who likes to be polished but show some personality in her clothing.
We were greeted and escorted to the VIP salon to meet the host and other fashion, beauty, and parenting bloggers. In between playing dress-up in Kate’s latest spring clothes and accessories, we all were able to network with each other, drink pink Champagne and nibble on cupcakes provided by Kate Spade’s team.
Joanna had been out of the fashion/Fifth Avenue world for a few years, so I gleefully got to be her stylist for the day(fashion will ALWAYS be dear to me). I picked out a chambray pleated peplum top with tweed fringe shorts for her to wear with a comfy, yet stylish pair of Lana High Heels. For myself, I paired the same shorts with the striped Ramona top and Licorice High Heels. We even had a mini photo session with JC Smooth Photography.
It was a great event that I won’t ever forget. I also fulfilled one of my dreams of being in a designer store trying on clothes and feeling super girly with a friend.
